Swimming Quarry & Pools

BEAVER DAM SWIMMING CLUB is located in Cockeysville, Maryland. It covers about 30 acres. We are known for our fresh water quarry and our rope swing. Come spend a fun-filled day with us, swimming in either one of our two pools (up to 5' deep) OR, for STRONG SWIMMERS, the quarry (average depth 40').

Snack Bar

Come and refuel at our snack bar with a variety of food and drinks to keep you energized for your swimming adventures.

Safety Policies

We prioritize safety at Beaver Dam Swimming Club. Please familiarize yourself with our facility safety policies to ensure a secure and enjoyable swimming experience.

  • Direction/instructions from lifeguards and staff must be followed at all times
  • Proper swim attire is required for all swimming/wading
  • No drugs or alcohol
  • No pets - service animals only
  • No loud speakers and no use of vehicle sound system
  • No exit without paying again to enter
  • No smoking, vaping, & hookah​
  • Must be 4 years old to enter the swimming quarry
  • No glass containers
  • No fishing
  • No drones
  • No unlicensed vehicles (scooters, children's vehicles, etc.)
  • Vehicles and personal belongings are subject to being searched
  • No weapons
  • No personal checks
